About us

A bridge, a measurement system, and a stubborn belief about evidence.

Mobile Space Adventures brings starship bridge missions to schools, teams, and museums from our home base in Georgetown, Texas. The mission is the experience. The measurement is the product.

The lineage

Where the bridge comes from.

The bridge simulation style we run traces to the model Victor Williamson pioneered in Utah beginning in 1990, where generations of students have flown missions that demand leadership, not just participation. Founder Mike Donahoo networked directly with Utah practitioners to learn the style before adapting it for mobile delivery in Texas.

Our missions run on Starship Horizons, a bridge simulation we license from its developer. What we build on top is our own. The Mission Analysis System turns crew voice traffic and mission telemetry into role labeled behavioral evidence.

The founding idea

Schools and organizations spend real money teaching leadership, and almost nothing showing whether it worked. We built the measurement layer that has been missing. We don't replace your leadership program. We measure it.

How we measure

Grounded in the tradition that keeps flight crews alive.

Our measurement design draws on the Crew Resource Management behavioral marker tradition and the Salas Big Five teamwork model, the approach aviation has refined for more than 40 years to evaluate crews whose coordination cannot be left to impressions. Bloom's Taxonomy grounds the cognitive side of mission design.

The Mission Analysis System transcribes crew voice traffic and attributes every utterance to a crew station using mission telemetry as ground truth. All processing happens locally on our equipment inside your building. No audio, video, or transcript data leaves your site.

What we will not do

We publish what our measurement can and cannot support. During our current validation window, reports are qualitative and role labeled, every claim carries a confidence flag, and growth statements ship with directional caveats.

No numerical scores until our validation work clears them. If a claim cannot survive a skeptical procurement officer, it does not ship. That is the standard.
